Why this site exists
January 19, 2026 is the date when important changes affected the rules for UK casinos. Specifically, operators had a new obligation to include the main requirements for casino offers and to limit the maximum wagering requirements.
Due to this change, almost all British casino content became outdated. Even content written after the amendment contains wagering requirements that are no longer valid and comparison tables that rank casino offers based on new conditions. Most of the content was not even checked again because reading the terms of each of the operators can be tiresome.
This is the gap that MegaReelSlot intends to fill. Each figure displayed on the site was read from the latest published terms of each operator and all pages indicate the last date the terms were checked. This is a smaller site compared to those that are listed in the search results. However, this is what makes the site unique: instead of listing hundreds of web casinos from a feed, only ten casinos are listed that contain properly written terms.
Who writes it
I most certainly do. This is Callum Whitfield and I am the sole writer for this website, in case anyone was wondering. I live and work in Manchester. I wrote all the payment guides, reviews, and the methodology, as well as this page.
There are no analysts. No contributors. No deep-domain expertise. There is just something you don’t see very often – a fascination with a specific section of online gambling. More specifically, with the cashier, the methods, and the real and published payment limits, the payment routes that leave a welcome offer unfulfilled, and the payment times. Most of that is recorded somewhere, and most of it is ignored.
For the record, the reason for my name on every page is obvious. It means I can be wrong.
What is published so far
About fifty-seven thousand words on ten UK-licensed casinos.
- Ten casino reviews. Each works through the welcome offer against its actual terms, the published cashier limits, the games library, and the trust side: licence, funds protection, dormancy, complaints and how the terms handle a malfunction.
- Eight payment guides. A comparison of every method across the ten, then one guide each for debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, open banking, PayPal, paysafecard and Skrill and Neteller.
- A published methodology. The scoring formula in full, every pillar score for every casino in one table, and a list of the things this site refuses to do. Read it here.
More guides are being written. There is a real need for this information, and in particular, answers on certain hard-to-find questions, such as self-exclusion, the fine print on broken games, and the processing of dormant balances.
The ten casinos, and who really holds the licence
The real name at the top is not the name on the licence. Each Operator listed here was verified against the Gambling Commission’s public register with account numbers, and this is who the Gambling Commission states is actually behind the brands.
| Casino | UKGC account | Licensed company |
|---|---|---|
| bet365 | 55149 | Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC |
| William Hill | 39225 | WHG (International) Limited |
| All British Casino | 38758 | L&L Europe Limited |
| PlayOJO | 39326 | Skill on Net Ltd |
| Midnite | 42647 | Dribble Media Limited |
| Betway | 39372 | Betway Limited |
| BetVictor | 39576 | BV Gaming Limited |
| Betfred | 39544 | Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited |
| Grosvenor Casinos | 57924 | Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited |
| MrQ | 60629 | Tek Fox Limited |
Two worth more detail. Midnite is part of Dribble Media Limited, a company with an English registration. It is the sole English registered operator in the list. Meanwhile, the Malta-based Tek Fox Limited, is the company that runs MrQ, and while MrQ has very ‘British’ branding, it is registered in Malta with company number C96152. Understanding who you get into business with should not change the protections afforded to you, but it is important to note that the Gambling Commission licence is what defines how a British customer is served.
What I will not cover
Each casino on this page has a current Great Britain licence. This is not preference, and there is no price at which this would change.
- Anything without a GB licence. Advertising an unlicensed operator to British players is a criminal offence under section 330 of the Gambling Act 2005. That alone settles it.
- Anything marketed as being outside GAMSTOP. The entire selling point of those sites is that they will accept someone who has formally asked the industry to stop accepting them. Every operator here is signed up to the scheme, as GB licensing requires.
- Casinos aimed at avoiding UK rules. No-verification accounts, crypto-only cashiers, and operators whose terms are written for a market that is not this one.
If at any time a page on this site recommends an operator that is not in the Gambling Commission register, that is an error that I want to hear about. The register is open to the public and searchable. The account number for every casino is printed on their review and can be verified in less than a minute.
How the scores work
Every casino gets four scores out of five for bonuses, payments, games and trust. The final score is the average of the four, with each given equal weighting and rounded to one decimal place.
This is designed to be straightforward so that you can check your work. Open a review. Enter the scores for the four pillars, and divide by four. Your answer should match the number displaying on the dial. For a complete description and what each pillar measures, as well as why everything on the site receives a score of 4.0 or greater, visit the methodology page.
How the site pays for itself
Through affiliate links. If you sign up with an operator through a link on this page, that operator may pay us a commission at no cost to you. Every page with such a link has a notice at the bottom of that page.
What safeguards this content from that is not a pledge to integrity, because anyone can post one. It’s that the scoring system is out, and every pillar score is provided for every review and is tied to something the operator has published, and you may go check that for yourself. A bought score would need to get through all of that.
The most direct evidence is on the site. The best cashier of the ten is provided by Grosvenor Casinos, which also has the most expensive welcome offer on the list and is scored 3.3 for that.
What I cannot tell you
An honest about page should describe the limitations of the service or product, so here are mine.
This site uses published information to compile their data. They utilise operator T&Cs, payment pages, help pages, promotion Terms, and payment providers themselves. They can illustrate exactly what a casino has agreed to. However, they can’t show you how friendly the live chat staff was when you spoke to them at midnight or if that 24 hour withdrawal actually reached your bank.
This is a genuine gap, and, rather than cover it with “invented testing,” I choose to be honest about it. That which is checkable is that which is publishable, and where the operator has published nothing, this page says so.
This one is a relatively severe limitation. It is worth mentioning. Casinos change limits and bonus terms at their leisure. Everything cited on this site is a snapshot of what was published on the date noted on the top of the page. Check an operator’s current terms before you deposit. In case the terms on the operator’s site and what is published on the site differ, then what agreements you are bound to would be what the operator states and what the terms of use of the site would state along with what this site guarantees or does not.
Corrections and contact
If you see something here that is inaccurate, please let me know. I want to get the correct limits, wagering requirements, and terms for operator promotions. These are the things that operators change without notice.
Send an email to callum@megareelslot.com outlining the page and the errors found. If possible, provide a link to the operator’s page to show the current value. Any incorrect values on the site are amended on the site with the date value also being amended.
When you send an email to this address, very little happens. This is explained in the privacy policy. This is the correct contact address for both press requests and for operators who think a review has misinterpreted their terms. A correction supported by the operator’s wording will always be made.
This address is provided for the purposes of providing feedback only, and that is all it is. I do not have access to your account to process a withdrawal request, remove a restriction, or return a balance to you. For matters pertaining to an account, contact the operator and, if that fails, the alternative dispute resolution provider (whose details are also contained in the operator's terms).
If gambling stops being fun
This is a site dedicated to the discussion of casinos, so it would not be right to say everyone visiting this site is fine. Gambling is addictive, and the tools available to assist in this are provided at no cost.
GAMSTOP blocks your access to all ten online gambling operators licensed in Great Britain in one click. Most UK banks allow you to enable a gambling block through their app regarding your credit/debit cards. BeGambleAware and GamCare provide free, confidential support and the National Gambling Helpline is free and available 24/7 by calling 0808 8020 133. Our responsible gambling page explains everything and includes NHS treatment you can refer yourself to.
You need to be at least 18 years old to gamble in the UK.
Frequently asked questions
One person. I am Callum Whitfield and this site is based in Manchester. I created this site and I wrote all the pages. There is no editorial team, no anonymous review panel and no guest contributors. If anything is inaccurate, it is my mistake.
The site carries affiliate links, and I might earn a commission if you sign up through one of these links. No operator is involved in the scoring, a ranking, or a review. The scoring model is complete so anyone can check the number published against an operator's terms.
Since every review is based on the full T&Cs, and pages relating to payments, promotions, and the Gambling Commission's register, covering 10 operators in detail is far more helpful than listing 100 from a spreadsheet.
Absolutely not. Every operator on this site holds a current Great Britain licence, verified by account number. It is a criminal offence under section 330 of the Gambling Act 2005 to advertise an unlicensed operator to British players, and it is sites that markets themselves as being outside self-exclusion that are most likely to harm the people this site is intended to help.
Email callum@megareelslot.com with the page and what is inaccurate. Limits, wagering requirements and promotion terms change without notice, so corrections are appreciated. Anything found to be incorrect is updated on the page and the date on it is changed.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you – this never changes the figures or rankings. See our review methodology.
