Privacy Policy

The short version

MegaReelSlot doesn't have accounts, logging, comments, newsletters, or forms. Because the website doesn't require any user input, there is nothing for it to collect. Because of this, MegaReelSlot doesn't collect any data on its users.

Also, MegaReelSlot uses no analytics. This means there is no usage of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, any advertising pixels, heatmap technology, or consent tech. During a normal page view, your browser doesn't even issue a single request to a third party, because the fonts used are the ones installed on your device.

How to verify any of this yourself

You do not have to take a privacy policy on faith, and on a website such as this one, you can easily verify the important claims yourself in your browser.

• Check the cookies. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the storage or application panel, and look at cookies for megareelslot.com. The list is empty, and it stays empty however long you browse.
• Check the network requests. Open the network panel and reload any page. Every request goes to megareelslot.com. Nothing is fetched from an analytics provider, an ad network or a font service.
• Check the source. View the page source. The only scripts are two files served from this domain, one that loads the header and footer and binds the navigation, and one that opens and closes the FAQ panels.

If any of that stops being true, this page is updated and the date at the top of the page is changed.

Server logs

One thing that happens automatically is nearly universal across websites. When your browser sends a request for a page to the server, a log of that request is generated. A typical log includes your IP address, the time stamp, the page requested, your browser and your OS, and the page from which the request was made.

Logs are generated and maintained by the hosting infrastructure and are not generated by any code on your site. Landing pages are used to operate the site and the server. Logs can be used to debug, eliminate abusive behaviour, and investigate attacks against the server. Neither are they collated to create a profile about you, nor are they retained, used, or shared with the casinos.

The logs are created and maintained in legitimate interest, that is to say in the interest of the availability and security of the site, due to the nature of the logs, they are only maintained in that interest and for which time they are useful.

If you email

The only way information about you can be sent to us is by you, in which case it is geniunely your choice, by emailing callum@megareelslot.com. In that case your email address and your message will only be stored in order to read it with the intent of replying.

Your address will never end up on a mailing list. It is never handed over to an operator, and is never utilised to send you unwanted messages. Communication is held for the duration of its relevant time, e.g. while a correction you reported is being verified. Once its relevance is expired, it is deleted.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests, in responding to someone that has contacted us. Should you wish for your email to be removed once the matter is closed, please ensure that you include this within the email, and it will be removed.

Cookies, and why there is no banner

This Site does not use cookies. It does not use local storage or session storage either. Therefore, nothing is written to your device by megareelslot.com.

It is reasonable for people to ask this question when a Site does not utilise a consent pop-up. As per the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is needed to store information on your device or to gain access to information stored on your device. Given that this is not a case, there is no need for consent to be requested and a pop-up would be theatre.

If in the future cookies are implemented, e.g. due to the insertion of analytics, then a consent pop-up would be implemented at the same time and this page would be changed prior to either of them being implemented.

What happens when you click through to a casino

Links to operators on this site use an address that starts with /go/ and redirect to the casino. This redirect is a simple instruction to a browser. It sets no cookie, saves no information, and makes no record beyond the normal server log entry described above.

The next step is not controlled by this site. When you go to the operator’s site, you are their visitor, and subject to their privacy policy and their cookie policy and their tracking. To request any of these, please send an email to callum@megareelslot.com. Most requests will be answered honestly, and, in most cases, there will be nothing stored on the site beyond the server logs which contain no personally identifiable data and are associated with an email sent.

If you have a concern about how a request is handled, you can forward your concern directly to the ICO (information commissioner's office) at ico.org.uk. You are not required to report your concern to us. However, it is usually faster to do so.

Age and children

Participation in this site is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, in accordance with UK law. This site does not target children, and no data is intentionally collected from children under the age of 18.

If you believe that a child has sent personally identifiable information to the email address on this page, please notify us. We will delete this data.

Changes to this policy

This page includes the last refresh date at the top. If the site establishes cookies or starts using analytics, you will see the changes here prior to going live.

There is no mailing list, so the date is the only notification system. To check whether the site has been updated, check the date.
